How to close up your piece neat and nice? Here is my video tutorial – the ultimate finish for amigurumi
So instead of work decrease stitches (sc2tog) in last row, I cut the yarn and leave a tail with 12 stitches remaining (on my pattern). Draw the tail through the final loop on the hook and thread it onto a yarn needle. Use the needle to close up and weave the tail to the end. This way make the ending of your work looks much more natural and nice.
Step 1: Thread the yarn tail into a tapestry needle.
Step 2: Weave the needle through the front loop of each remming stitches.
Step 3: Pull tight to close.
Step 4: Weave it through 1 or 2 stitches to secure the tail.
Thank you for reading, do you know this technique works great on “The unicorn girl” pattern ?
